Job Description:

This position is responsible for reviewing sales leads, developing estimates, and coordinating with the estimating team members to grow our institutional casework presence in designated geographical areas.    

Essential Functions

·         Research potential projects for bidding in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota territories.

·         Develop and control sales and marketing programs.

·         Direct market activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

·         Represent Architectural Arts at trade association meetings to promote product lines.

·         Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.

·         Conduct sales calls with architects and general contractors including distribution of catalogs and current sales literature.

·         Prepare and review estimates.

·         Follow-up on bids and obtain bid results whenever possible.

·         Complete monthly reports to include a sales quote evaluation and production schedule.

·         Issue Purchase Orders and approve invoices, as needed.

Required Experience:

·         Bachelor's Degree preferred

·         Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus

·         Minimum five years’ experience working in the millwork and/or construction industry required

·         Minimum two years’ experience in estimating required

·         Equivalent combination of education and experience

·         Understanding of AWI Quality Standards or New Architectural Woodwork Standards

·         Understanding of AWI QCP – Quality Certification Program

·         Understanding of FSC Program – Forest Stewardship Certification

Required Travel:
