Principal Objective of Position:

The Superintendent will be tasked to work with the Project Manager and are responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of field activities on their assigned project. They are the on-site representative to the owner (or their designated on-site representative), subcontractors and suppliers. The are expected to represent the Company to our employees with respect to their productivity, skill development, health and welfare and policy enforcement.

Job Functions:

· Ensure all projects are performed in accordance with contractual and quality standards

· Take necessary action to assure that the project objectives for cleanliness, safety, budget, schedule, quality and process are met

· Track, organize, and maintain daily paperwork including field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence to keep all necessary parties

informed of important issues

· Attend, and at times, lead pre-construction, progress, and other project and staff meetings

· Provide assistance to sub-contractors when necessary in order for them to complete jobs on time and in compliance with quality and workmanship

standards

· Create and manage punch list items as the individual trades and project nears completion

· Assist in tracking and maintaining construction logs for RFIs, ASIs, Change Orders, and inspections

· Communicate project information to and from the subcontractors and vendors

· Assist with estimating for new construction projects and changes to projects

Other Functions:

· Organize and set up weekly subcontractor meetings.

· Track meeting minutes and action items.

· Organize and track daily construction activities.

· Managing the submittal process with subcontractors and vendors.

· Close out of subcontractor’s contracts and the individual project’s completion

· Reviewing subcontractor pay applications with field staff and accounting dept.

· Promote and maintain a culture that values professionalism, honesty, safety, and cleanliness.

· Participate in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives.

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering or Management or related field or equivalent experience

· 30 Hour OSHA Training preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervisory rolls in the construction field

Previous experience with BlueBeam or Adobe Acrobat preferred

Previous Experience with SureTrak preferred

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Hours of Work may fluctuate depending on the needs of the projects. Some overtime may be required.

Travel:

Travel to job sites may be required. Job site locations are variable.
