Job Description:

We are looking for a competent Demolition Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers on site. This work includes interior wall and ceiling removal, demolition of flooring and some utility services, salvage, and selective structural demolition. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions when a supervisor is not on site. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. You will work closely with managers on deadlines for specific tasks as well as safety protocols to enforce among workers

Required Experience:

-    Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

     -         Allocate general and daily responsibilities

     -        Ensure manpower and resources are adequate

      -        Supervise the use of tools and equipment

-        Resolve problems when they arise

-        Report on progress to managers

Qualifications:

-        Proven experience and In-depth knowledge of construction procedures

-        Ability to effectively read drawings, plans and blueprints.

-        Problem-solving abilities

-        Effective team player, which can plan and organize a team with the capacity to motivate and boost morale

-        Excellent organizational and leadership skills

-        Ability to communicate and effective listening skills

-        Valid driver’s license required  

Required Travel:

Work in Des Moines and surrounding area.  Per Diem if any overnights
