Current Opening:

The Marketing and Engagement Coordinator will work closely with Human Resources and Business Development to coordinate efforts in employee and potential employee recruitment and retention as well as engagement of potential clients and community engagement. The Marketing and Engagement Coordinator will generate unique ideas and content and promote the Woodruff brand.

Recruiting

    1. Work with Human Resources on the company’s recruitment strategy and employment branding
    2. Identify and source potential candidates through social media, networking events, job boards, e-mail marketing, educational institutions and industry associations
    3. Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts.
    4. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities
    5. Summarize weekly the status of all active searches throughout the company
    6. Work closely with Human Resources Director and others in the HR and Field Operations team to fully understand current and upcoming recruiting needs as well as developing recruitment plans to meet those determined needs
    7. Attend career fairs and other recruiting events
    8. Work with local trade schools and high schools, to assist with hiring and marketing of construction as a caree
    9. Stay abreast of recruiting trends and more efficient ways to source and attract talent to the office and the field

Marketing and Business Development

    1. Create engaging content including marketing materials, client proposals, presentations, advertisements, posters, signs, etc
    2. Work with the Business Development Team to identify the most impactful tradeshows, presentation, speaking or other opportunities for us to attend
    3. Assist with creation of tradeshow presence such as booth set up and materials
    4. Attend events to identify connection opportunities
    5. Collaborate with the Business Development team on advertising program
    6. Create and implement a strategy to promote the company’s online presence including social media platforms
    7. Establish on-point social strategies and campaigns
    8. Serve as a steward of the brand in reviewing creative product, ensuring brand and campaign consistency across touchpoints
    9. Create positive client experiences by helping with events like groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, or jobsite tours and then creating buzz for the client on social media
