We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst to work on our Infrastructure Team. This position will be located in our Des Moines, IA Corporate office. Maintenance required after typical business hours will periodically be required.

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.  

The Technical Support Analyst supports and maintains various systems. This role focuses on the administration of assigned system(s), including technical support, monitoring, preventative maintenance, support requests and working diligently to resolve issues to maintain employees’ productivity. Basic knowledge of the construction industry is helpful.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues; collaborate with selected vendors to resolve issues if necessary
  • Troubleshoot complex networking situations; configure and address issues
  • Monitor application environment for performance
  • Apply updates, patches and configuration changes to maintain systems with minimal disruption of service; establish test environments and thoroughly monitor prior to deployment
  • Create and maintain process documentation
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of system functionality, components and use of diagnostic procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality; be attentive of social networking pitfalls where confidentiality could be leaked
  • Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
  • Business travel will be required

  • Education: An Associates’ Degree in an IT related field is preferred. A combination of technical training and certifications may be considered.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an IT related field is required. Experience in a fast-paced business environment and exposure to LEAN principles is desirable.

  • Skills: Organization, business acumen, time management, problem solving, effective communication, attention to detail, initiative, discretion with sensitive and confidential information, adaptability, and prioritization abilities are all necessary skills for this role.
  • Technology: Proficiency with operating systems and basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Employee must have the ability to learn other specific software.
