Job Description:

Kingland Construction Services is looking to add a Project Engineer to our growing team.  Ideally this person would be responsible for the following:

·         Provides administrative and management support to both the PM and Foreman

·         Assists the Estimator and PM in soliciting and running bids

·         Attends the project hand-off meeting, when requested

·        Ensures the Estimator uploads pertinent documentation into the appropriate digital files within the project folder

·         Complete sand submits Job Start Checklist to appropriate team members

·         Assists in obtaining permits when necessary

·         Assists the Estimator in performing take-offs

·        Coordinates the day-to-day operations of assigned projects

·         Assists the PM and Foreman in:

o   Collecting, updating and maintaining all project documentation

o   Implementing the project schedule

o   Informing Kingland leadership of changes in schedule

o   Submitting approved time to accounting

o   Preparing the two-to-three week look ahead schedule for each project

o   Managing project deliveries and logistics

·         Manages change event process

·         Informs Kingland team of change events

·         Reviews, codes, and submits subcontractor pay applications and vendor invoices

·         Assists the PM in managing the project close-out process

·         Assembles the final documentation package for clients (ex: O&M manuals, collect and issue warranty letters, etc.)

Schedules and attends the project close-out meeting

Required Experience:

2-5 years construction experience
