Job Description:

We are seeking a Dump Truck Driver to join our team. Portzen Construction, Inc. is a general contractor located in Dubuque, IA.

This position is a full-time position that can be seasonal work. 

Responsibilities

• Drive a dump truck hauling product from various locations to job sites.
• Occasional light labor work outside of the truck (lifting 25-50 lbs)
• Communicate effectively regarding schedules and any potential issues on the road.
• Follow all company policies regarding safety protocols and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and strength test, and subject to random DOT drug testing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required Travel:

Some travel may be required within a 150-mile radius of Dubuque.
