ESTES CONSTRUCTION
FULL-TIME PRE-CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for a full-time pre-construction manager. As a pre-construction manager, you will be responsible for developing preliminary budgets, value engineering, pre-construction schedules, procurement plans, prequalification of subcontractors, detailed take off and estimating, definition of bid package scopes, the subcontractor/supplier bidding process, evaluations of bids, presentation of detailed estimates of the work and evaluation of alternatives for both negotiated and competitive projects. You must be able to present on project interviews and clearly present estimate and executive summaries to client representatives or groups with professional written and spoken communications. You will also prepare bid packages, obtain bids from subcontractors and material vendors, analyze bids, and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.

Required Experience:
Skills & Qualifications include:
- Any combination of education and experience considered; 3- 5 years of construction experience and technical degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- Experience in construction estimating and project management preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
