Job Description:

Our plumbers are craftsman that enjoy working with their hands, taking on projects both big and small and providing excellent service to our customers. While we do value experience, we are also willing to train the right candidate.

Job Duties & Requirements:

• Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures in commercial construction
• Install mechanical piping, equipment and systems associated with commercial construction
• Install PVC, copper, PEX, ProPress, threaded and grooved pipe
• Interpret drawings, submittals and specifications
• Layout and plan for the tasks ahead on a daily basis
• Follow Uniform Plumbing Code and install all systems per specifications
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous plumbing experience preferred, but not required
• Journeyman or Master License is an asset
• Certification in all aspects of welding is an advantage
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as a team and succeed as a team

Required Experience:

• Basic construction and math skills are helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Previous outside work is a plus
• Journeyman or Master License commands higher starting wage

Required Travel:

Majority of work will be in Central Iowa, but entire state of Iowa is in play, especially Eastern Iowa.
