Job Description:

This Proejct Team Lead will manage and direct the work of the Project Management team, which includes prioritization, utilization, organization, and accountability of staff. A successful Project Team Lead will have the ability to train, coach and mentor each member of staff to achieve successful project delivery.

Essential Functions

1.      Maintain a master schedule of project milestones

2.      Assess and determine capacity of staff for utilization

3.      Implement effective training process, constantly evolving with the needs of the projects

4.      Maintain accountability of staff, daily and weekly check-ins for compliance

5.      Track risk metrics and review project reporting to determine potential areas needing

          improvement

6.      Coordinates resources for project team

7.      Review employee performance

8.      Develop and review standards, processes, and tools for effective project management

9.      Provide periodic reporting to leadership

10.    Ensure department goals are met.

11.    Manages the department budget.

12.    Coordinates project audits.

13.    Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures

14.    Maintain professional attitude with owners, inspectors, public and company personnel.

Required Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email communications, and scheduling
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Proficient at interpreting specifications and reading blueprints
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience

• One (1) – three (3) years of Supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction science/construction management.
• Minimum of five (5) experience in construction project management
• Experience with electronic scheduling software such as Microsoft project
