Job Description:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of millwork projects, from conception to completion. Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful execution of commercial architectural millwork projects, meeting client expectations, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

2. Budget and Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Regularly track expenses and make adjustments as needed to stay within budgetary constraints.

3. Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to effectively execute projects. Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

4. Quality Assurance: Maintain a strong focus on quality control and compliance with architectural specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality of workmanship.

5. Project Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for all project-related communications, both internally and externally. Facilitate productive collaboration between various teams, ensuring smooth project progression.

6. Timeline Management: Develop and manage project schedules, identifying critical milestones and potential roadblocks. Proactively address any delays or issues to keep the project on track for timely completion.

7. Change Management: Evaluate and respond to changes in project scope, timelines, or budget requirements. Communicate any adjustments to stakeholders and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.

8. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with projects and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize their impact on project outcomes.

9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders. Provide regular updates to the management team and clients on project status and performance.

10. Client Relations: Foster positive relationships with clients by ensuring clear communication, addressing concerns promptly, and striving to exceed their expectations

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing commercial architectural millwork projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of architectural millwork processes, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to lead project teams and interact with clients.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications:

Highly proficient at:

• Microsoft Office
• Excel
• A project management software (Innergy preffered)

At least 5 years of experience

Required Travel:

Minimal out of town travel required.  Typically day trips at most.
