Job Description:

You will work as the right hand assistant to the Shop Manager. You will make deliveries to jobsites throughout the Davenport regional area, while performing basic preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and machinery; receiving and shipping of materials, maintain orderly storage of materials and inventory levels; perform fabrication on pipe for the field; communicate regularly with field and office employees on projects. You will be responsible for coordination of work flow, delegation and task completions during Shop Managers absence.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should have prior experience working in a shop environment, comfortable driving a fork lift and be mechanically inclined. You must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to successfully pass a Department of Transportation Driver Medical exam. Candidate will be regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects; reach with hands and arms and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Computer knowledge and great multi-tasking skills.
