We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst to work on our Front Office Team in our Des Moines, IA Corporate office. Maintenance tasks after typical business hours will periodically be required.

The Technical Support Analyst will work alongside the IT Manager to monitor, modify and test various software systems. This role will apply understanding of business processes and application-related systems to ensure effective system usage and seamless integration across platforms, while also assisting with advanced support requests. Experience with analyzing business data, writing reports and computer programming is helpful.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues; collaborate with selected vendors to resolve issues if necessary
  • Understand business processes and assigned systems (purpose, available features, interaction with other systems, etc.)
  • Monitor system logs, employee activity and system performance; identify and resolve system issues
  • Download, evaluate, test and deploy updates to maintain systems with minimal disruption of service; establish test environments and thoroughly monitor prior to deployment
  • Create and maintain process documentation, to include: hardware, software, licensing, configuration, vendor contacts, procedures, changes, disaster recovery planning and other related items
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of system functionality, components and use of diagnostic procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality; be attentive of social networking pitfalls where confidentiality could be leaked
  • Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
  • Business travel will be required

What We're Looking For:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each previously stated duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to succeed in this role.

  • Education: An Associates’ Degree in an IT related field is preferred. A combination of technical training and certifications may be considered.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an IT related field is required. Experience in a fast-paced business environment and exposure to LEAN principles is desirable.
  • Skills: Organization, business acumen, time management, problem solving, effective communication, attention to detail, initiative, discretion with sensitive and confidential information, adaptability, and prioritization abilities are all necessary skills for this role.
  • Technology: Proficiency with operating systems and basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Employee must have the ability to learn other specific software.
