Job Description:

Current Opening: 

Provide development, support, coordination, and assistance to employees with the ultimate goal of increasing quality, production and profitability of all projects. Establish a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Leads and supports efforts.  Woodruff is seeking an excellent communicator, who embraces innovative solutions and is a goal driven team player. 

Accountabilities

Continuous Improvement Oversight 

  • Collaborate and work together for the whole team success
  • Consistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor
  • Ensure processes and procedures are documented consistently across the company
  • Conduct production studies
  • Assist with the analysis and collection of data to support decisions regarding the processes being reviewed
  • Conduct employee outreach across the organization to communicate about continuous improvement and implement change/process improvement
  • Identifies opportunities and leads process improvement projects
  • Monitors existing and new processes for improvement opportunities in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through lean problem-solving methodology
  • Promotion of Woodruff best practices
  • Lead all continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiencies across all areas of the company
  • Influence employees across the company to create a culture of continuous improvement
  • Use Woodruff policies and procedures

Training and Workforce Development

  • Provide proactive and intentional internal training
  • Ensure that all employees are following guidelines established to be Woodruff best practices through the Superintendent Manual, Project Manager Manual, Employee Handbook and Woodruff activities planning procedures
  • Coordinate or provide training programs to establish and improve quality, productivity and safety
  • Develop internal training videos
