Safety procedures in the work environment will be exercised at all times. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborn particles on job sites, moving machanical parts and vibration. The position is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. the noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, cold temperatures, snow, rain and exposure to dust and debris. Occasionally this position will require long hours and possible Saturday work.
Assisting with the design and installation of architectural panels comprised of different materials including phenolic, steel, aluminum and cementitious type panels. The laborer amy operate a variety of hand/power tools, clean and prepare sites, organize tools, utilize chop saws, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble/debris, as well as remove waste materials.

Construction knowledge as well as knowledge of use of handtools.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb and stand for extended periods of time, as well as perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects.
Must be able to use abdominal and lower back muscles to rpovide support over time without fatigue
Excellent physical stamina is a plus.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a physical capabilities test, (required) and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
This will put you ahead of other candidates: Knowledge and experience within the construction industry. Forklift Certification. OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30. 1st Aid/CPR Certification. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Ability to understand, follow instructions, and ask questions. Join materials with nails, screws, rivets, or adhesive. Use levels, rulers, and squares to ensure everything is level, plumb and secure. Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual alabor, dealing with heavier metal panel construction projects. House cleaning job sites: pick up all tools and equipment to eliminate potential hazards and theft. Perform material handling and storage. Loads/unload trucks, haul/hoist material. Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and brings problems to the attention of the foreman/superintendent. Working in Ariel equipment up to 120', ladders, and on the rooftops of buildings. Communicate with Foremen on project details. Must be able to wear required PPE at all times. Have general knowledge of basic hand and power tools. Performs work in accordance with job specifications and safety. Attends all safety meetings. Strong work ethic. Communication proiciency.
