Job Description:

Create and develop relationships supportive of the Baker Group mission statement with employees, internal and external customers.  Advanced knowledge of Mechanical design, layout, and construction, using industry leading Autodesk software and other related software.  Performs related work as required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of the following software:
    • Revit (Mechanical)
      • Family Creation
    • AutoCAD MEP
  • Knowledge of the following software:
    • Navisworks
    • Bluebeam
    • Excel
    • Outlook
  • Project model set up
  • Floor plan cleanup & updates
  • Answer/Resolve/Explain user questions on Autodesk software
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems design, layout, and construction
  • Assist department on Revit family creation
  • Coordinate multiple deadlines with project team
  • Prepares clear, complete, 3-D models and design drawings from engineering markups or notes for construction purposes
  • Analyzes sketches, notes, and other input material to determine best approach to complete drawings
  • Ability to delegate effectively the type and amount of work to others in order to leverage personal effectiveness
  • Effectively prioritizes and balances “big picture” and immediate responsibilities
  • Ability to listen effectively, value the opinions of others and acknowledge contributions of others
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others at all levels
  • Ability to resolve issues promptly for a “win-win” solution
  • Consistently display natural leadership skills
